Groups and Organisations

Getting involved in the life of the church is the best way to get to know people.

You are most welcome to join in any of these groups or organisations.
Details of what is involved and who to contact are given below.

Children and Youth

We have a DIY Creche for pre-school children and a Sunday School for children aged 5-15 that meets during the 11.30am service each week except for the first Sunday of the month when they meet in the Parish Hall for a Sporting Sunday event. The Sunday School is not on when we have the Family Service on the last Sunday of the Month.

We have a Youth Fellowship for Secondary age and above young people that meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 7pm in the Parish Hall.

Bible Study

Bible courses, Alpha courses and informal discussion.

Worship

We have a SATB Choir that meets for Practice at 11am in the Church Rooms before Sunday worship in St Patrick's except on the first Sunday of the month when we have a worship group that meets at 11am in the church.

Pause for Prayer

Meets on the First and Third Monday morning in the Minor Hall from 10.30am - 11.00am for a time of prayer for the needs of the parish.

Community Lunch

Come for a delicious homemade soup lunch from 12 noon onwards in the Parish Hall on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month (excluding May- Sept)

Walking Group

Meets Tuesday mornings.

The Group is autonomous within the Walking for Health organisation with an emphasis on friendship and welcomes anyone with an interest in walking as exercise regardless of faith.

 

Walks are held every Tuesday at 10.00am and are varied in length and location to provide variety and cater for all abilities.
